The first "green" wheel loader from Wacker Neuson with electric drive WL20e gets off to a good start in Norway. Among other things, it is currently being used to construct a new school in Oslo, as well as for demolition work in a food factory. For both projects, the machine's zero emissions were crucially important to the firm order placement.
Persuaded by the ease of use and excellent spare part availability of Wacker Neuson products, Osterhuber Agrar, a storage, cargo handling and port logistics company, opted for a 501s skid steer loader. Since April 2011, the new machine has been used daily to unload ships and for warehouse work. With its compact dimensions and excellent maneuverability, it is ideal for use in shipping containers and to help turnaround agricultural products.
